This course provides an introduction to media and cultural criticism within the context of Hong Kong. By engaging with key concepts and critical theories in media and cultural studies, students are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences with popular culture and develop unique perspectives. Through a series of structured writing exercises and training, they will learn to craft authentic and thoughtful critiques.
