In this course the students can learn the following contents: 1) Mechanism of CMOSFET transistor; 2) IC elements: Logic gates, latch and FF; 3) Combinational and sequential circuits; 4) Verilog-HDL hardware description language for IC design: Syntax, example, and testbench; 5) Analysis of circuit delay, performance, timing and protocol; 6) Industry EDA tool software for IC design; 7) Number system in IC domain: Integer, floating-point number; 8) Design of common circuit blocks; 9) Basic types of data bus standard and communication protocol; 10) Overview of AI algorithm and computation; 11) Fundamental AI circuit design; 12) Architecture of AI IC.
