This course is intended to introduce the methods and concepts in linear algebra and matrix theory which are often used in the studies of physical and biological sciences, data science and machine learning, business, accounting and finance. Topics are selected from: systems of linear equations, matrix algebra, vector spaces, linear transformation, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, inner product, special matrices and matrix factorizations.
